As a son of an immigrant nurse and blue-collar worker, risk was not a privilege given to Jeff in life.
However, after becoming stuck in a work environment that stifled his curiosity and creativity, Jeff knew he had to cultivate the courage needed to make a drastic change. While Jeff was not born into a family of entrepreneurs, his economics degree from Rutgers University and MBA in Finance from Baruch College, gave him the knowledge and skills needed to co-found his first business with his childhood best friend.
Since then, Jeff has started three other companies and learned that entrepreneurship and real estate are not as glamorous as social media makes it seem. Jeff’s goal with The RISE Group is to share his business lessons and insight while providing a supportive and energizing network for real estate agents.

Why take the chance, you already have a good job
Someone once asked Torri as she decided to pursue higher level education in genetic counseling. As an immigrant, it was not a matter of income or status, but rather a personal gut-feeling that she was meant to “do more”. Torri invested in herself knowing that personal fulfillment was on the other side of student loans. Counseling has allowed her to nurture her innate skills of educating, supporting, and guiding others through difficult and inevitable circumstances in life. These experiences empower Torri to be a great daughter, friend, wife, and business partner.
The RISE Group is an opportunity to extend her skills beyond patients to team members with hopes of encouraging fulfillment beyond survival. We all deserve the chance to be our best selves and reach our greatest potential without judgment. Torri’s goal with The RISE Group is to provide constructive insight for personal development and communication competency; skills needed to secure transactions from that initial interaction to the closing table.
